Mr. Pinga is a member of the Operation Clean Government, National Rifle Association (NRA), Rhode Island Common Cause and Rhode Island Statewide Coalition (RISC).

Michael Pinga was born on January 3, 1963. He attended Providence Street Elementary and St. Joseph’s Schools. He graduated from LaSalle Academy in 1981 and Community College of RI in 1983.

Michael and his wife, Jill (Cole), have 2 daughters: Nicole (13) and Michaella (10). Nicole and Michaella attend Barrington Christian Academy. They enjoy helping their father at his bakery. The Pinga family resides on Newell Street in the Westcott neighborhood of West Warwick.
